It’s 1967, the Centenary of Canada! In Old Montreal, Place Jacques Cartier is filled with street artists. In the bistros and the coffee houses ring with the earnest messages of folksingers. It is a time of revolution and a society anxious for change.

Chris Rawlings, originally from Montreal, is a singer-songwriter who lives in Toronto. For nearly forty years, he has been performing popular music at folk festivals and schools within the framework of Mariposa in the Schools.
