Two blockbuster concerts in one on Friday September 28th starting at 8 p.m.
We are very excited to have Boukman Eksperyans on-stage at Daniels Spectrum. These legendary Grammy-nominated masters of Haitian Misik Rasin are renowned for their high energy beats and harmonies. Misik Rasin translates to Musique Racine, referring to the rich ethnic cultural heritage of the group.
The opening act is a new Toronto group called Malagasy Roots, which features the well-loved Donné Roberts and Madagascar Slim!

Klo Pelgag and Julie Kim perform for the 13th Annual Francophonie en Fête
We are excited to bring the hugely popular Klô Pelgag to the stage this year for our closing concert on Saturday, September 29th 2018 at the Spadina Theatre.
This highly talented 28 year old from Quebec has captured numerous music awards thanks to her remarkable voice and stage presence.
In 2014, she won the Barbara Prize and the Grand Prix de la Francophonie awarded by the Charles Cros Academy. In November 2016 Klô Pelgag released her latest album entitled “L’Étoile thoracique”, which was hailed by critics, and went on to win several honours and prizes in 2017.
Opening for Klo Pelgag is Julie Kim. She is originally from Quebec and has become very well known on the Tornto music scene since her arrival here 20 years ago. She will perform popular and new pieces from her brand new album ‘Perspectives’.

Join us Sept 20-29 for the 13th Annual Toronto Francophone Music Festival, a jam-packed 10-day deep dive into the rich Francophone musical diversity that thrives in Toronto.
A highlight of the Festival is the Free Distillery Weekend Concerts, September 22nd and 23rd . We feature the best of established and emerging Francophone talent to grace our stage from mid-day and right through the afternoon. Come for both days and see more than a dozen artists from France, Africa, Haiti, Ontario and Quebec on stage at the Distillery.

Francophonie en Fête hosts Toronto’s Best Annual French Music Festival! Now in it’s 13th year it has been a vital part of the music scene in Toronto and a living example of the growth, creativity and diversity of the Francophone culture in Ontario.
Francophonie en Fête is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the cultural vitality of French-language culture across the GTA. Each year Francophonie en Fête harvests the best in Francophone entertainment to offer Toronto a unique and inspiring festival with a range of high quality concerts. In addition to its rich entertainment program, Francophonie en Fête also strives to forge links and collaborate with the vital forces of the Francophone community of Toronto, in particular La Semaine de la Francophonie in March, and delivers a vibrant educational program to the French language schools in the Toronto area.
