With his album Le repère tranquille, Vincent Vallières  has confirmed his status in Quebec’s musical landscape. On his fifth album Le monde tourne fort, Vallières presents personal texts and music that is apparently simple, but under which we find arrangements that are multi-toned. This singer-songwriter gives life, with his contemporary poetry , to day-to-day events where everyone sees  themselves. He tells love stories in all things complicit and heartbreaking. He is searching to elucidate the mysteries of time and tense “from the future to the present” (space and time), he meditates, simply, on life.

Born August 8th 1978 in Sherbrooke, Vincent Vallières writes his on material since the age of 15. In 1996, he made the finals of « Ceegeps en spectacle »  (runner-up) and subsequently the demo album “Le vent du Nord”.  From  1999 to  2006, the albums : « Trente arpents »,  «  Bordel Ambiant », « Chacun dans son espace » and  « Le repère tranquille »  are released.  Vallières has now forged a solid experience and stands amongst Quebec music’s most significant artists.
